Company Overview:
Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in commercial fit-out projects across the North West. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, they work with a diverse range of clients in retail, office, and leisure sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit-out projects to join their team in Accrington.

Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion. Working closely with project managers, clients, and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for new projects.
* Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and appointing subcontractors.
* Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims.
* Monitor project costs, progress, and performance against budgets.
* Provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and management.
* Work collaboratively with the design and project teams to achieve client objectives.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the fit-out sector (commercial fit-out experience preferred).
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and contracts (JCT and NEC preferred).
* Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
