Estimator

Our client are renowned for delivering innovative and high-quality projects across the construction sector. Specialising in cutting-edge cladding systems and facade design, we work with top-tier contractors and architects on prestigious projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Estimator with a background in construction and cladding to join our dynamic team in Tamworth.

The Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in securing new projects by preparing accurate and competitive estimates. You will analyse project specifications, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure that costings are aligned with project requirements and company profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade and cladding projects.
*

Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
*

Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for material and labour costs.
*

Liaise with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure estimates align with project execution strategies.
*

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required.
*

Prepare and submit tenders within set deadlines.
*

Provide value engineering options and commercial advice where applicable.
*

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, cladding or architectural facades experience is a plus.
*

Strong understanding of facade systems, materials, and installation processes.
*

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
*

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
*

Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to strict deadlines.
*

Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or quantity surveying is desirable.
