Contract Manager

Our client is looking for a talented and driven Contracts Manager with extensive experience in overseeing civils work on utilities sites and strong experience in the electricity and water sectors. Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage civils projects on utilities sites.
* Oversee the daily operations on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
* Act as the primary point of contact for client liaison, ensuring excellent communication and relationship management with clients.
* Manage and supervise site operatives, ensuring safety standards and project specifications are adhered to.
* Utilize programming software (e.g., Microsoft Project) to effectively plan, manage, and track project timelines and progress.
* Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, ensuring that financials are managed effectively and within the set budget.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in contract management in the utilities sector, specifically with electricity and water.
* Strong knowledge of the electricity and water utilities industry, including the associated processes and standards.
* Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, manage stakeholders, and supervise site teams effectively.
* Solid experience in managing site operatives and ensuring high-quality delivery.
* Commercially astute with a keen eye for managing project budgets and costs.
