Street Lighting Electrician

Full Job Description:

* Shift Patterns: Rotating schedule, including 4 weeks of nights (4 PM-2 AM) and 1 week of days (8 AM-6 PM)
* Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems, including LED upgrades, lamp replacements, and fault finding.
* Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of streetlight electrical issues using wiring schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
* Carry out electrical testing to ensure streetlight systems are operating safely and efficiently.
* Install, connect, and maintain electrical wiring for street lighting circuits and related control systems.
* Respond promptly to reports of outages or faults, ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruption.
* Work on a variety of public and private sector projects, including roads, highways, and pedestrian zones.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and client specifications.





Requirements

* 18th Edition Certification
* NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
* AM2 Qualification
* 2391 Testing and Inspection Certification
* Experience working on street lighting or similar outdoor electrical systems is highly desirable.
* Full UK Driving License
