Electrical Estimator

My client are a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor who have gained an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality Mechanical and Electrical projects across the UK.

They provide a full range of mechanical and electrical services across the public and private sectors delivering projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and leisure sectors.

They are seeking a talented Electrical Estimator to join their team.

As an Electrical Estimator, your duties will include:

* Reviewing agreed tenders, analysing specifications, and designs to complete take offs
* Calculating the cost of materials, labour, and prelims
* Obtaining quotes from specialist or named suppliers
* Communication with clients to manage needs and expectations
* Visiting prospective sites to support tender bids
* Collaborating closely with other team members within the company to compile and submit tender bids.
* Gathering tender information and producing tender documents.

Requirements:

* Knowledge of the Electrical and / or Mechanical sector is advantageous but not essential.
* A team player
* Excellent communication skills
