Estimator

Our client is a leading UK conservation contractor, renowned for restoring and renovating some of the country's most iconic listed and heritage buildings.

They're trusted across commercial, public, and ecclesiastical sectors to deliver projects with integrity, craftsmanship, and care.

They're now looking for an experienced Estimator to join their growing team - someone who shares their passion for heritage conservation and brings proven experience within the renovations of listed buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for conservation and refurbishment projects.
* Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and heritage reports.
* Liaise with clients, architects, heritage consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost planning.
* Conduct site visits and assessments to support cost analysis and feasibility.
* Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the listed building or heritage renovation sector.
* Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods and materials (e.g., stone, timber, lime, lead, etc.).
* Ability to read and interpret architectural/conservation drawings and documentation.
* Confident communicator with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Familiarity with cost estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
* A passion for heritage preservation and craftsmanship.
