Your new role:
Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the commercial success of projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams and subcontractors. The role offers scope for long-term growth within a stable and supportive business.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the full commercial lifecycle of fit-out and interior projects
*

Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
*

Conducting cost analysis and reporting on project performance
*

Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure value for money
*

Monitoring project variations and producing accurate valuations
*

Preparing and negotiating final accounts
*

Supporting the site team with commercial advice and cost control
*

Ensuring compliance with contract terms and company procedures
*

Attending site meetings and contributing to project planning

What you will need to succeed:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or interior fit-out sector
*

Strong knowledge of dry-lining, SFS, ceilings, and associated trades is highly desirable
*

Excellent negotiation, numerical, and analytical skills
*

Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement methods
*

Proficient with measurement and estimating software/tools
*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*

Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field
*

Full UK driving licence
