Job Title: Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor



Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the projects, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with the project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the commercial function for two residential developments (housing andamp; flats).
*

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
*

Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
*

Assess and manage project risks, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
*

Handle contract administration, variations, and claims management.
*

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any financial concerns.
*

Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
*

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Skills and Experience Required:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in residential construction.
*

Strong knowledge of housing and apartment construction methods and costs.
*

Experience in cost planning, procurement, and financial reporting.
*

Proficiency in contract administration, including JCT andamp; NEC contracts.
*

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
*

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS qualification preferred).
