Job Opportunity: Estates Surveyor - Manchester City Centre

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estates Surveyor to join a well-established property company based in Manchester City Centre. This role offers the chance to work with a reputable commercial investment group, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties across the UK.

The company is known for its proactive, experienced team, committed to delivering top-tier property management services and maintaining strong relationships with occupier clients.

Role Overview:

As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a mixed-use property portfolio. You will be responsible for day-to-day property management, implementing income-enhancing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with both clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the income from a varied property portfolio across the UK.
*

Develop and maintain positive relationships with occupiers, ensuring confidentiality and trust.
*

Collaborate with the accounts team on annual service charge budgets, reconciliations, and rent reports.
*

Work closely with building managers and contractors to manage ongoing maintenance and repairs.
*

Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities in partnership with clients and third parties.
*

Manage rent collections, service charge budgets, and all aspects of landlord-tenant relations.
*

Conduct regular property inspections and manage a small team of building managers.
*

Provide support to senior management with additional tasks as required.

What We're Looking For:

Degree educated with MRICS qualification (or working towards)
*

Strong commercial property management experience.
*

A proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
*

Knowledge of basic property accounting principles.
*

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
