Are you an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity?

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work on exciting mechanical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare, submit, and manage accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects
* Oversee all aspects of cost management throughout project lifecycles
* Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, and final accounts
* Conduct risk assessments, value management, and cost control
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Provide detailed reports on project costs, forecasts, and budgets
* Ensure all commercial activities comply with contractual requirements
* Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure cost-effective project delivery

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, ideally within building services or engineering sectors
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installations
* Excellent knowledge of NEC, JCT, and other relevant forms of contract
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred)
