Assistant Estimator

Our client are renowned for delivering innovative and high-quality projects across the construction sector. Specialising in cutting-edge cladding systems and facade design, we work with top-tier contractors and architects on prestigious projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Estimator with a background in construction and cladding to join our dynamic team in Tamworth.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Estimator to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will support the estimating department in preparing accurate cost estimates for architectural facade projects, ensuring timely delivery and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
*

Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
*

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and evaluate quotations.
*

Support in analyzing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
*

Maintain and update cost databases and project records.
*

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
*

Provide administrative support to the estimating team as needed.

About You:

Previous experience in an estimating role, preferably within facades or construction industry.
*

Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
*

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*

Eagerness to learn and develop within the estimating field.
