HSQE Manager

My Client are a well established multi-disciplined Building Services provider renowned for offering a high-quality service whilst maintaining principles of Quality, Value, Collaboration and Partnership. The company undertakes the full spectrum of Building Services and Engineering Projects up to £1m in value for both the public and private sectors acting as either Principal Contractor or subcontractor. They are looking for a HSEQ Manager to join their business on a part-time basis.

As HSEQ Manager you will be involved in the following:

SHE Management Systems Development and Implementation

* Regularly review and update SHE management systems to align with evolving legal and industry requirements.
* Engage stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of systems into existing workflows.

Regulatory Compliance and Policy Translation

* Stay informed about new legislation and regulations to anticipate impacts on the business.
* Translate legal requirements into actionable policies and procedures, ensuring they are understandable at all organizational levels.

Advisory Role on Legislation and Best Practices

* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) by providing insights into current and future SHE legislation.
* Equip the business with the necessary tools and resources for decision-making.
* Promote awareness and training programs to integrate SHE best practices across teams.

Safety Culture Improvement

* Collaborate with directors to design and implement programs focusing on human factors and behavioral safety.
* Conduct workshops and training to foster a safety-first mindset among employees.
* Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the program's success and identify areas for improvement.

ISO Certifications Management

* Ensure SHE management systems meet and maintain ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO9001 standards.
* Prepare for external audits by conducting regular internal audits and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
* Address non-conformities promptly to uphold certification validity.
