Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

My client are a well-established telecoms contractor who primarily provide rooftop solutions nationwide for our clients, while also developing greenfield and brownfield sites as needed to meet their requirements.



They are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their business and work on Telecoms projects.



Duties to include:

* Measure and estimate accurately and efficiently
* Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
* Control cost and maximise value
* Mitigate risk using correct contractual procedures
* Produce accurate monthly valuations on time
* Access, value, and process labour and subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes promptly
* Manage workforce and client for the project
* Achieve best cashflow and variance analysis
* Produce Monthly CVR's
* Report on opportunities, risk, and performance of the project
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
* Manage project budgets and monitor costs.
* Conduct site visits for accurate estimating.
