Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established contractor known for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects.

With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to clients, they are looking to expand their team with a skilled Quantity Surveyor to help continue their success.

As a Quantity Surveyor with our client, you will play a key role in managing costs, overseeing budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll collaborate with experienced project teams on a variety of challenging and rewarding civil engineering projects, including roadworks, groundworks, and sewer installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage cost estimates, bills of quantities, and detailed budgets.
*

Monitor project costs and provide accurate cost reports.
*

Value completed work and certify payments.
*

Conduct site measurements and manage procurement for projects.
*

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
*

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in groundworks, roads, and sewers.
*

Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and best practices.
*

Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
*

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*

A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
*

Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS) is an advantage.
