Your new role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ensuring their successful financial management from inception to completion. You will play a key role in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and risk management while working closely with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.

Managing and monitoring project costs, ensuring financial efficiency.
*

Conducting risk analysis and value engineering assessments.
*

Overseeing contract administration and negotiating terms with clients and subcontractors.
*

Evaluating and approving variations, claims, and final accounts.
*

Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
*

Providing regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
*

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

What you will need to succeed:

A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
*

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management.
*

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
*

Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office and cost management tools.
*

A full UK driving licence is desirable.
