Cad Technician - Roofing and Cladding

As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of industrial roofing and cladding projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to produce detailed technical drawings, design solutions, and assist with project coordination to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for roofing and cladding projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Work alongside engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and project requirements.
*

Modify and update existing designs based on client feedback or project changes.
*

Provide design solutions to optimize efficiency and quality within project parameters.
*

Assist with technical documentation and material take-offs.
*

Ensure all designs meet client and regulatory standards.
*

Keep well-organized records of all designs and documentation for easy access and reference.

Required Skills andamp; Experience:

Proven experience as a CAD Technician, specifically within the industrial roofing and cladding sector.
*

Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with a keen eye for detail.
*

Strong understanding of industrial roofing and cladding systems, materials, and best practices.
*

Experience in the construction or building services industry.
*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
*

A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*

Relevant qualifications in CAD or engineering are desirable.
