Senior Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical & Electrical

Position: M&E Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + benefits

Our client is a leading specialist in the M&E sector, renowned for delivering top-quality mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing company.

About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
* Oversee risk, value management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage contracts, financials, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on project progress.
* Ensure cost efficiency and adherence to client requirements through collaboration with project teams.
* Support post-tender activities, including contract negotiation and value engineering.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Minimum 5 years' experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and associated costs.
* Experience managing contracts, including NEC and JCT agreements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in industry-standard estimating and cost management software.
