Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Developer - Manchester

Our client, a prominent high-rise developer in Manchester, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and commercial matters on high-rise development projects. From the initial stages through to project completion, you will ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
* Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations
* Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions
* Monitor project costs and report on cost control, ensuring projects are kept within budget
* Identify and manage risks, variations, and changes to the scope of work
* Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Provide support and advice to senior management and project teams

Required Skills andamp; Experience:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-rise or construction sector
* Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration
* Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is desirable)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
