Senior Estimator

My client are a specialist civil engineering and highways contractor delivering projects throughout the North West of England.

They have gained a distinguished reputation for delivering hugely successful schemes including but not limited to: groundworks, drainage projects, highways, and public infrastructure developments.

Due to sustained growth, they are recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join their business.

You'll be working on a number of civil engineering projects across the Manchester and surrounding areas.

Experience within the highways sector is essential.

As the Senior Estimator you'll need to be commercially savvy with prior experience in a comparable position. Your main duties will include:

* Collaborating across departments to ensure accurate pricing and comprehensive technical and commercial details in tender submissions
* Upholding tight deadlines throughout the tender process
* Cultivating strong client relationships and networking with industry professionals to pave the way for future tender victories and client engagements
* Facilitating a smooth transition from tendering to project execution and delivery
* Overseeing a team of estimators
* Negotiate with clients including site meetings and agreeing method of working.
* Engage with clients for future schemes
* Production of programmes and method statements
