Quantity Surveyor - Cladding/Roofing/Facades

Our client, a leading company in the roofing and cladding industry, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in roofing and cladding to join their dynamic team. Specializing in delivering high-quality projects, our client is looking for a professional who can manage costs efficiently and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the financial aspects of roofing and cladding projects from start to completion.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for roofing and cladding works.
* Oversee tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Monitor project costs, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Prepare valuations, manage variations, and produce final accounts for projects.
* Provide cost control and value engineering solutions to optimize project delivery.
* Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve cost-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the roofing, cladding, or construction sector.
* Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems, materials, and processes.
* Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and procurement.
* Proficient with industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Relevant qualifications (Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field).
