About the Role:

A leading development consultancy business is seeking a skilled and experienced Fund Monitor to join their team in Central Manchester. As a Fund Monitor, you will oversee the financial aspects of building projects, ensuring that funds are appropriately allocated, and that spending aligns with budgets, timelines, and investor requirements. This role involves conducting site visits, assessing progress, and preparing financial reports that track the project's status and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor the financial performance of development projects
* Conduct regular site visits to verify project milestones, assess construction progress, and confirm that work adheres to the project timeline.
* Document findings from site inspections and use this data to evaluate the financial health and risk profile of the project.
* Review and analyze project budgets and forecasts
* Track project expenditure and income
* Identify and mitigate financial risks
* Prepare regular financial reports and updates
* Liaise with project managers, developers, and lenders
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
* Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential financial issues
* Utilize financial reporting software and construction management tools to analyze data and generate insights

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

* Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction finance, project monitoring, or fund management
* Proficiency in financial reporting software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Excel)
* Strong knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, and compliance standards within the construction sector
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
