Site Manager

A long established Regional Contractor are looking to recruit a Site Manager to deliver a new build Industrial scheme in Manchester. The company deliver new build and refurbishment projects predominantly in the Industrial and Commercial sectors, so previous experience of working on similar projects is required. A Site Engineer background is preferred but not essential.

The role will include:

* Supervise and effectively manage all subcontractors and labour on site
* Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
* Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
* Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
* Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary
* Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Management System
* Build and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and any other stakeholders
* Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team
