Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking a Senior QS to join their dynamic team and help continue delivering top-quality construction projects across the industry.

As a Senior QS you will play a key role in the financial management of construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for comprehensive cost estimation, tendering, contract negotiation, and ensuring that projects remain on budget and on track. Your expertise in both estimating and quantity surveying will be essential in maintaining high standards and achieving outstanding project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders for projects.
* Manage and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Conduct risk assessments and advise on potential cost-saving measures.
* Monitor project budgets and ensure financial control throughout project lifecycles.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide expert advice on procurement, variations, and contractual matters.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in both estimating and quantity surveying within the construction sector.
* Strong knowledge of pricing, procurement, and construction contracts (NEC, JCT).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
