Senior Estimator

My client are one of the region's longest-standing construction groups who over many decades have forged an enviable reputation for delivering high quality projects. They operate within the Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Retail, and Commercial Sectors with work secured predominately via repeat business and frameworks.



They are now recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join their team and work on projects across the North West. You'll be working on various schemes valued up to £10m.



As the Senior Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will include:

* Taking overall lead on all estimating functions.
* Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
* Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
* Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
* Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
* Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
