About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis to support a prestigious project in the Wakefield area. The project is part of a wider framework and will involve various water infrastructure works.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing comprehensive commissioning plans
* Conducting pre-commissioning activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation
* Overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities, including functional testing, performance verification, and handover
* Identifying and resolving any defects or non-conformances
* Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience in commissioning water infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
