Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading name in the construction and groundworks industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As a Senior QS, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high standards in delivery.

What We Offer:

* Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, based on experience
* Package: Comprehensive benefits package
* Location: Office-based role in Merseyside with site visits across the North West

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee project costs and ensure commercial control across multiple projects
* Manage subcontractor packages, valuations, and variations
* Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project performance
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure budgets and timelines are adhered to
* Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed budgets

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a background in residential groundworks
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing costs, contracts, and risks
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and financial management.
