Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client a leading name in the civil engineering sector, is looking for a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for major civil engineering projects.
* Manage all aspects of contractual and financial management for projects.
* Conduct detailed risk analysis and cost control.
* Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to project teams.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional growth within the team.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation.
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in relevant software and tools.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
* NEC3/4 and JCT Contract Experience
* Estimating ability inc. experience/understanding of CESSM
* 8 years experience in a QS role, water / wastewater experience ideal but not essential
* Producing Cash Flow, Forecasts and assisting management accounts
* Tendering and Framework application support and experience
