Building Careers works in partnership with Thrive, a charity that is dedicated to supporting young people in the Liverpool City Region, particularly those with care experience, to secure meaningful employment.

At Building Careers we recognise the significant disadvantages faced by young individuals. The collaboration focuses on addressing the barriers that people encounter that affect their job prospects, well-being, and financial security. The Liverpool City Region has a high population of care-experienced young people, many of whom struggle with employment due to socio-economic challenges, child poverty, and family dysfunction.

The partnership aims to support disadvantaged youth, enhance their employability, and promote community engagement. The strategy involves organizing interactive career sessions with potential employers, understanding the specific needs of young people, and providing essential resources. Community engagement, targeted support, skill development, and employer connections are key aspects of the implementation process.
