Empowering Women in Construction

The partnership

At Building Careers, we are dedicated to breaking barriers and promoting diversity in the construction industry.

After nearly 20 years in construction and social housing recruitment we know there's a lack of women working in our industry. It's a frustration to us as the candidates we have placed on small, medium and large businesses - all the way up to PLCs - have benefitted from women not just being part of the team, but leading in different aspects of the build and construction programme.

This case study delves into our initiatives to empower women, highlighting our proactive approach in creating pathways for women to thrive in traditionally male-dominated fields. Through targeted support, mentorship, and advocacy, we aim to bridge the gender gap in construction while showcasing the invaluable contributions of women in shaping the built environment. This study explores our commitment to equality and opportunity, emphasising the transformative impact of empowering women in construction careers.
