Building Careers, under the engagement of our Social Value Champion Jo Fisher, has undertaken significant outreach initiatives aimed at supporting disadvantaged individuals, including those reintegrating after prison and care leavers.
Collaborating closely with Liverpool City Council, initiatives have focused on providing job opportunities post-release, resulting in a high success rate of employment for participants equipped with CSCS Cards. Partnership with Nobody Left Behind has further enhanced efforts, offering crucial training and support for care leavers, leading to numerous success stories of permanent employment placements.
Additionally, the alliance with Grahams Construction through the Grahams Cre8 Programme has proven instrumental in offering hands-on training and employment prospects for individuals from marginalised backgrounds. Approximately 70% of participants secured full-time positions, highlighting the program's effectiveness in fostering workforce inclusion. Moving forward, partnerships with organisations like 'Thrive' aim to expand these impactful initiatives across broader geographic regions, continuing to empower individuals and transform lives through meaningful employment opportunities.
